Materials and tools include: duck cloth (I used #10-12; also called canvas duck); scissors and knife; contact cement and foam bush; a straightedge (I like a t-square). I also use a small amount of graphite in the spiral runners upon reassembly. The table has three strips of duct tape positioned sticky-side up to hold the tambour strips in place as you do your work.
